4 In-Person Training Days
Hands-on practical learning and repertoire breakdown across classical and contemporary Reformer work — teaching practice, feedback, sequencing, class planning, equipment setup, safety and applied teaching skills.
A considered, mentored pathway for students ready to develop the skill, confidence and teaching eye to guide intelligent, safe Reformer classes.
Our Reformer Teacher Training is designed for students who are ready to deepen their understanding of the Pilates Reformer and develop the practical skills, confidence and teaching eye required to guide intelligent, safe and considered classes.
The program begins in October with 4 in-person training days, supported by a complete 100-hour training pathway. Across the training, students explore foundational Reformer repertoire spanning both the Classical Pilates method and Contemporary Reformer practice — studying spring selection, equipment safety, class planning, cueing, modifications, progressions, contraindications, observation skills, and the art of teaching different bodies in a group setting.
It combines in-person learning, online study, observation, self-practice and ongoing mentorship, so students are supported beyond the initial training days and into real teaching experience.
Five connected pillars that carry you from repertoire and safety into real, supported teaching.
Hands-on practical learning and repertoire breakdown across classical and contemporary Reformer work — teaching practice, feedback, sequencing, class planning, equipment setup, safety and applied teaching skills.
Self-paced theory modules supporting anatomy, Reformer principles, class structure, safety, cueing, programming and repertoire understanding.
Complete 30 Reformer classes at Ritual to build personal practice, body understanding, confidence on the apparatus and deep familiarity with the method.
Observe experienced Ritual teachers to develop your teaching eye — understanding class flow and how different teachers cue, modify, progress and manage a room.
Following the in-person training, you're supported through a six-month community class mentorship — the opportunity to practise teaching in a real studio environment, gain confidence, receive guidance and keep developing your skills with support.

This training is for students ready to take their Reformer practice further and begin the process of becoming a thoughtful, safe and capable Reformer teacher.
It's suited to those who value depth, mentorship, practical experience and a slower, more supported pathway into teaching — not a rushed weekend certification.
At Ritual, we believe great teaching is developed through repetition, observation, curiosity, feedback and time. This training is not just about memorising exercises. It's about learning how to see bodies, understand movement, choose springs with intention, communicate clearly, modify appropriately, and teach with confidence and care.
You'll leave with a strong foundation in Reformer teaching and an ongoing mentorship structure to help bridge the gap between training and teaching.
